Live Soccer Matches Online

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

Thanks to the miracle of modern technology its now possible to watch live football (Soccer) or any other popular sports on your PC free of charge.

In order to watch the live games you must first download one of the free P2P programs that are widely available. Currently there is around eight of these p2p programs available on the net but as with any software i’m sure more will appear in the future.

After downloading a P2P program, just like other software, you need to install it. There are channel lists to choose from. Just some clicks to choose which one you want to watch and there it launches.

P2P programs get the channels free of charge because there are other sport fans like you who want to share their signals. Anyone who has TV card can also share with their friends or others. In sports, it is great when you have mates to share the enthusiasm of watching live matches.

Actually there is something else. The signal works in synergic. Meanly, when more people watch the same channels at a time, then the signal caught by their computers will be stronger.

Currently Sopcast and TVU seem to the most popular p2p program to use, probably because they are both Spyware / popup free and thousands of channels can be found from ESPN, Star Sports, Sport Channel 1, 2, 3 and 4, SHTV, Guangdong Sports, the list is endless.

Sopcast itself has been downloaded by more than 2 million sport fans. It is contagious because that means hundreds of thousands others can also watch from the shared signals. PPlive was actually once the most popular P2P program instead of Sopcast and TVU, but is now only broadcasted in China.

Once you have P2P programs, think of watching all live matches of English and European popular football leagues such as Champions League, International football, Russian football leagues, and the Chinese Ultra League. The list is countless, not yet to say other popular sports’ live matches. Whether you are a fan of tennis, boxing, hockey, cricket, golf, etc, watching the live matches for free is just possible.

So the arguments for becoming a fan of football over the internet are quite sufficent, its free, easy to use, instant and extremely convenient. All you need is a computer, online access and of the course the passion to watch live football on your PC.

Will The Ravens Make It To The Big Game?

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

The Baltimore Ravens are, what many sports enthusiasts would call, infants in the NFL. The originated in Cleveland, and after much debate, Art Modell finally got his wish of moving them to Baltimore. They did not have their own stadium, at first, so they plated in Memorial Stadium, home of the Colts. It only took two years for their stadium to be ready; although, the name of the stadium changed numerous times over the next ten years (it took some time for the team to settle in).

After they moved to their new stadium, the Ravens did not overly improve their game, not even with coach Marchibroda. Their first season ended at a 6-10 record, nothing overly impressive. After only two years, in their new stadium, the head coached was replaced with Billick. Billick’s first season, with the Ravens proved to be a difficult one. Once the team got over the hump of having a new coach, and a few rough years behind them, they ended their ‘99 season with a 8-8 record; the best they’d seen yet.

Only nine years later, the team had another phenomenal year. While they did not make it to the Super Bowl, due to a last minute steal by another NFL team, they did get closer than they ever had before. In fact, the Ravines had secured the sixth seed in the AFC playoffs. Regardless, the Ravens had an exceptional year. Team members, staff, fans, and even those not fond of their team waited, during off season, to see what this would bring.

After a phenomenal season in 2008, the team has a new saying — “Play like a Raven”. This saying is spreading quickly, especially around home. Those who witnessed play during training of the 2009 summer will vouch for the fact that the team busted their humps. So not only was the team pumped to play, but they also had 26th pick in the draft, which helped them a lot. Michael Oher was predicted to see some good field time in the ‘09 season with the Ravens.

The Ravens are a new team as they are just starting their 12th season on the NFL. Regardless, after some hard work, they have made their way to some big games and attention. Everyone is excited about the 2010 season. The tickets will sell quick so be sure get your tickets as soon as they go on-sale!
